Rise in exports of crude oil and petroleum products

The value of exports of crude oil and petroleum products increased by 6.56% during the period from the first of January until 31 August / August 2011 to reach 210.4 billion compared to $ 689.2 billion dollars during the same period of 2010.The Indicators report - issued by the Center for Information and Decision Support Centre of the Council of Ministers - increased production of crude oil and Altktvat and butane by 2.1% to reach 234.23 million tons during the 8 months of the year compared to 957.22 million tonnes during the same period last year.While the decline in domestic consumption of petroleum products, including an 8-month rate of 8.6% to a record 429.21 million tonnes against 981.22 million tonnes during the corresponding period last year.In the natural gas sector, gas production rose during the period of the month of January until August / August last, by 4.0% to 748.3 million tons compared to 625.3 million tons last year.While exports of natural gas and petroleum products by 12% to one billion and 249 million dollars against one billion and $ 533 million during the corresponding period of 2010.And increased domestic consumption of natural gas increased by 6.8% during the first 8 months to a record 24 million and 359 thousand tons compared to 22 million and 440 thousand tons during the same period last year.The proportion of electricity consumption of natural gas consumers were slightly 1.0% to 1.57% compared to 57% during the comparison period of 2010.
